Patricia Kovic is a professor at Otis College of Art and Design who studies how academic institutions simulate participation—and how they might be redesigned for real agency—in the age of AI. She leads interdisciplinary courses that combine design thinking, community-based practice, and experimental pedagogy, and has completed advanced training in AI agentic frameworks through Purdue University and Microsoft. Her work has been presented internationally at venues including the Tate Gallery and the Sorbonne.
